Morning At GrandView
The breeze through
the trees
from distant seas
greets strangers at your door.
But once we enter through that door,
we're strangers nevermore.
Your home you open
as your hearts
so we may rest in peace.
When we awake in 'morrow morn,
you greet us with a feast.
This home you keep
for us to share
and tell about to friends,
of warm and gracious love of life
and happiness it sends.
If we should pass
this way again
we hope to stay a while,
for you have greeted us this day
with warmness in your smile.
